Wong Teck Meng is one of co-founders of BWA. He has more than 25 years experience in a wide range of corporate recovery and insolvency related engagements including compulsory and voluntary liquidations, bankruptcy and individual voluntary arrangements, receiverships, financial reviews and investigations. These engagements have involved distressed companies in various jurisdictions including Hong Kong, People’s Republic of China, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Singapore.
Since moving to Hong Kong in 1999, Teck Meng has conducted numerous special financial reviews of distressed companies which include scrutinising a distressed company’s cash flow projections and performing sensitised cash flow projections for the purpose of setting out proposals to both the distressed company and its lending banks to facilitate a rehabilitation. He has also been involved in the disposal and dissolution of a number of Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprises in the PRC. more
Nichole has more than 18 years in dealing with corporate recovery, restructuring and insolvency matters. She has been involved in financial reviews and viability analysis assignments aimed at advising financially troubled companies. She has also assisted these companies in managing their operations acting in an interim management capacity.
Nichole has also assisted financially troubled companies in formulating alternative debt restructuring plans and negotiated with their creditors in relation to proposed debt restructurings. She has formulated and executed various corporate restructuring and recovery exercises for private enterprises including performance and financial analysis, profit and cash flow forecasts, asset and business valuation. more
Rosenna has worked for more than 19 years in the areas of corporate recovery, restructuring, insolvency and business analysis. She has been involved in a variety of compulsory and voluntary liquidations, receiverships and restructuring assignments in various industries including garment manufacturing and wholesale, printing, publishing, jewellery retail, property investment and management, learning and education, toys, import and export, food and beverage, construction, airline and service industry.
She has extensive experience in investigating the affairs of insolvent companies particularly with a view to uncovering and documenting transactions that can be set aside. These investigations form the basis of negotiations or legal proceedings often resulting in additional recoveries for the benefit of the general body of creditors of companies in liquidation. more
Derek joined Briscoe Wong Advisory in 2011 and has since been involved in a variety of insolvency related engagements including creditors’ voluntary liquidations, compulsory liquidations and bankruptcy administrations. Since August 2012, he has been extensively involved in the receivership of a petrochemical company which continues trading. He works with people of different departments, from accounting, marketing to the production, to ensure the smoothness of operation.
Derek previously worked as an auditor with a focus on financial audits for clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, property investment, shipping and logistics, retailing and trading and non-profit organisation. During his examination of the accounts of a client, he detected suspicious areas and suspected deception and assisted the client in identifying the responsible party and to implementing systems to prevent if reoccurring. more

Jason Yau joined Briscoe Wong Advisory in 2020 and has been involving in various insolvency and restructuring engagements including compulsory and voluntary liquidation, personal bankruptcy and receivership. Jason previously worked at a Big Four accounting firm specialising in financial crime threat mitigation advisory.
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, Jason is developing his professional career in the field of insolvency and restructuring at present.
Alex Lau joined BWA in 2021. Alex has been gaining fundamental insolvency knowledge from his day to day handling of corporate and personal advisory matters handled by BWA.
Alex was an accounts officer prior to joining BWA. He has also completed the Insolvency Preparatory I course held by the HKICPA.
Alex is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
